Join us Friday, November 25 at 2:00 PM at Westport Woods Conservation Park conference room to read aloud the “Allegiance to Gratitude” chapter in the NYT-bestseller Braiding Sweetgrass: Indigenous Wisdom, Scientific Knowledge, and the Teachings of Plants, by MacArthur Genius Award-winner Robin Wall Kimmerer. Sign up to read here or just come to listen and reflect on our interconnectedness to the natural world, through Kimmerer’s chapter considering the Mohawk/Haudenosaunee Thanksgiving Address – also known as Greetings and Thanks to the Natural World. Light refreshments will be served.
