New Owners for Berry Hill Farm
WLCT is pleased to announce the sale of Berry Hill Farm to Carissa and Adam Davenport. They're thrilled to continue the Pierce's tradition of roadside blueberry sales, as well as to build on their own Town Farm Tonics.
Beginning May 13th, Native canoe builders will be burning a mishoon at Town Farm. Visitors are invited to stop by and learn about this traditional craft of Eastern Woodland tribes.
WLCT was the recipient of a OneTree Planted grant to restore the habitat at Dunham's Brook Conservation Area. Land Steward Nate McCullin chose shrubs and trees with an eye towards shelter and food.
Join the Westport Historical Society at 10am Sat, May13th at the Mill Pond and learn more about the power that stoked Westport's early growth. Parking is available across the street at the Senior Center.
Search Westport Woods for signs of left behind by animals who otherwise remain hidden. This active, family program is with Mass Audubon and Westport Land Trust, May 20th at 2:30pm
Due to limited parking, we're asking mishoon visitors to pre-register for spots at Town Farm. Cultural exchanges will take place daily from noon to 2, and the builders will be working daily until 6.
Is last summer's drought still fresh on your mind? Rain barrels reduce runoff and conserve water for landscape use. The Great American Rain Barrel Company is offering a great deal on rain barrels this summer. Order below and pick up at Westport Woods in July.
